SISTA 2 SISTA HIKE, FELLOWSHIP AND OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

LIABILITY WAIVER

Sista 2 Sista meet once a month for a hike, fellowship and outdoor adventures. This includes half-day and weekend events. On occasion we will have other events posted throughout the month for community outreach opportunities and Bible studies. We are a faith-based group and welcome women from all walks and seasons in life whether you attend church or not. This is a no judgement zone. Our goal is to create a fun, positive, safe, loving and welcoming community for every SISTA that attends an event. Our hope is that you will walk away feeling loved, included and seen.

During weekend events or road trips, we ask that everyone that attends please adhere to the itinerary for that event. If it is a SISTA event and you choose to go, you agree to participate as a SISTA. Please be respectful and mindful. We work hard to organize our events so that the trip runs smoothly, and everyone has a wonderful time.

At our events, we try our best to make sure we keep everyone safe. We try to scope out the trail or event location before we attend to make sure it’s safe for everyone. However, not everyone is on the same physical level, therefore, it is important for everyone to be conscious and responsible for their own physical abilities.

Each event will have SISTA volunteers that will be wearing bright green bracelets and backpacks. They will assist in leading hikes to helping a SISTA in need. Each volunteer will carry a first aid kit and an extra water bottle, protein snack and IV pack for emergencies. If you get injured or sick on the trail, one of the volunteers will lead you back to safety. However, if you choose to cut the trail short and not finish the trail, you will have to return on your own. We will guide you to the safest route back.

When attending an event, please be aware and practice our SISTA 2 SISTA MOTTO, “Be a light to those who are trying to find their way. Be the vibe you’d want to be around. Respect nature and those around you and love like a SISTA." We do not tolerate bullying, gossip, or clicks.

By agreeing to this waiver, you are agreeing that you are responsible for any injuries or illness you might sustain at all or any SISTA 2 SISTA Hike, Fellowship and Outdoor Adventures event and release SISTA 2 SISTA HIKE, FELLOWSHIP AND OUTDOOR ADVENTURES from all liabilities from all or any events you attend. You agree to the events expectations and to practice SISTA 2 SISTA motto at every event to your best ability.
