Meet the Founder

Stepfanie Romero founded SISTA 2 SISTA in January 2023. She is a graduate from Texas Wesleyan University with a degree in bilingual education. Stepfanie resides in the DFW area with her husband and fur babies. She has four daughters and a sweet grandbaby. She is a former first and second grade bilingual elementary teacher. Stepfanie is a women's Christian author, writes books for children and is currently working on her first women's self-help book. She has been involved in women's ministry since 2002 and has a passion for walking along side women through prayer, encouragement and adventure. She is the author of "O, Woman...Daughter of a KING: A Women's 30 Day Devotional and Interactive Journal." She also has a big love for animals and is involved in the rescue and rehoming of abused and neglected dogs.

 

 Stepfanie enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors. She loves sharing her faith and her love for nature with other women. Her prayer is to create a space and community where women from all walks and seasons in life will feel welcomed, embraced with love, encouragement, positivity, connectivity and inclusion.
